Economic Cost Advantage

The simple formula to calculate the area of steel in tension of a single reinforcement beam is as follows:
In case of Fe 415 and Fe 500 TMT Re-Bar material, the value of fy would be 415 N/mm2 and 500 N/mm2 respectively.

The above calculations indicate that more the tensile strength, lesser the consumption of steel.

Special Weldability

It is known that increasing the carbon content of the material increases the strength of the material. Shyam 500 TMT Re-Bar is produced with low carbon equivalent. The higher strength property is imparted through controlled thermo mechanical treatment to ensure superior weldability. Shyam 500 TMT Re-Bars do not require pre or post welding treatment.

Higher Corrosion Resistance

Shyam TMT Re-Bars have a uniform and thick tempered martensitic rim, completely free from internal stress. This martensitic rim (thicker than Fe415) improves the corrosion resistance of the Shyam 500 TMT Re-Bars as well as fatigue strength, when compared to traditional TMT Re-Bars.
