Economic Cost Advantage
The simple formula to calculate the area of steel
in tension of a single reinforcement beam is as follows:
In case of Fe 415 and Fe 500 TMT Re-Bar material, the value of fy would be 415 N/mm2 and
500 N/mm2 respectively.

of steel.

Special Weldability
It is known that increasing the carbon content of the material increases the strength
of the material. Shyam 500 TMT Re-Bar is produced with low carbon equivalent. The higher
strength property is imparted through controlled thermo mechanical treatment to ensure
superior weldability. Shyam 500 TMT Re-Bars do not require pre or post welding treatment.
Higher Corrosion Resistance
Shyam TMT Re-Bars have a uniform and thick tempered martensitic rim, completely free
from internal stress. This martensitic rim (thicker than Fe415) improves the corrosion
resistance of the Shyam 500 TMT Re-Bars as well as fatigue strength, when compared to
traditional TMT Re-Bars.
