Shyam Steel Industries Ltd., manufactures products of international standard and repute. Highly sophisticated machineries used in the plant assure complete Quality Control of the products manufactured in-house.

The quality of the products of the company complies to not only Indian Standards like IS 1786 Fe 415; Fe 500; IS 2062; IS 2830; IS 2831 but also various international standards like ASTM A615m Gr.60, A615m Gr.75, BS4449 Gr.460. The end-to-end control at the Integrated Steel Plant ensures production of PURE STEEL from iron-ore enabling complete control over the chemical composition of steel.

The company takes pride in its Rolling Mill, which is one of its kinds in the country. The Rolling Mill is completely automatic, which ensures constant linear speed, thereby providing consistent physical property of the products manufactured.

PLC control panel installed at various locations operates in the plant. The online inspection of the material under production enables seamless Quality Control.

The Quality Control Lab of the plant is equipped with sophisticated equipments like 100KV Universal Testing Machine, Spectrometer, Hardness Testing machine and Microscope along with various other necessary equipments. These equipments are used to monitor the quality of the products from various angles and at various stages of production.

The Quality Assurance department of the company is under the direct supervision of the top management and is aided by experts and quality professionals from institutions of international repute.

The company maintains a TUV certified, Total Quality Management (TQM) system in its plant, which acts as an effective tool to measure continuous Quality Improvement. TQM ensures complete Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Planning (QP), Statistical Process Control and Feedback. These characteristics work collectively to achieve complete quality standards and also provide continuous assistance on improvement in the Quality Standards.
